On January 25, 2013, Life: Organized teamed up with Access, Office of Privacy Protection and SAIL to hold a free shredding event! It was followed by a presentation from Claire at Life: Organized about paper management and organizing, and then Shawn Diaz from the Office of Privacy Protection talking about identity theft and scams. We could not have asked for better weather, the sun was shining as Dick prepared the truck for shredding. As the day wore on, we did see some snow, but that was not enough to stop almost 100 people from participating in our free shredding services and almost 60 attendees to the presentation. We were thrilled with the success of this event and really hope to build on it in the future.
